WCCF Hold the Phone Campaign

A campaign to support School District 51's cell phone use policy aimed at improving academic performance and mental health. Donations help provide phone storage devices to assist teachers in enforcing the District’s policy, allowing students to focus on learning without distractions.

Brownson Memorial Fund

The Brownson Memorial Fund supports locally based organizations that provide prevention, treatment, and recovery options for substance use disorder in Mesa County.

Conservation/Outdoor Rec/Environment Fund

Provides funding and support for non-profit partners with focus areas of Conservation, Outdoor Recreation, and Environment.

Eagle River Fund

The purpose of the Eagle River Fund is to provide financial support for projects and programs that protect, enhance and maintain the quality, quantity and temperature of water within the Eagle River Watershed.

Hunger Fund

Our Community Foundation works to expand hunger relief efforts. We work with various hunger relief entities to support households and individuals across our region.

Suicide Prevention and Awareness Fund

Supports programs and initiatives that promote awareness, education, advocacy, and collaboration towards the prevention of suicide among all age groups and demographics in Mesa County.

Trutta Fund for Veterans

The Trutta Fund is managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation and supports organizations that serve veterans and their families. The Fund is named in honor of the USS Trutta SS 421 to support and give back to those who served.

YouthStrong Fund

Supports projects and programs that help youth increase resilience and well-being and prevent substance abuse and suicide among youth. We work to convene stakeholders to determine needs and gaps in services, and identify evidence-based programs to fund, and provide technical support to help raise community awareness around these issues.

WCCF Community Grants Fund

Each year Western Colorado Community Foundation selects a theme for ‘community grants’ and awards approximately $100,000 in funding to nonprofits across a seven county region in western Colorado. In 2023 our Community Grants fund supported capacity building for organizations working to address affordable housing and unhoused issues.

Delta Community Fund

A permanent charitable endowment that distributes grants each year to support nonprofit organizations in the city of Delta and its surrounding areas. This funding provides valuable financial support for programs and is a charitable funding mechanism for people from Delta who want to give back to the community they live in and call home.

Ouray County Community Fund

A permanent charitable endowment that distributes grants each year to support nonprofit organizations in Ouray County. This funding provides valuable financial support for programs and is a charitable funding mechanism for people from Ouray County who want to give back to the community they live in and call home.

San Juan County Community Fund

A permanent charitable endowment that distributes grants each year to support nonprofit organizations in Austin, Cedaredge, Cory, Eckert and Orchard City. This funding provides valuable financial support for programs and is a charitable funding mechanism for people from Austin, Cedaredge, Cory, Eckert, and Orchard City who want to give back to the community they live in and call home.
